Will the Cisco 8831 conference set work on a CUCM 8.0.3.22900-5? If so, how do I get a BAT file to load this set on my call manager?

Hello,
Yes 8831's can work with CUCM but you will have to upload the firmware COP files to your CUCM cluster and restart TFTP. CUCM version 7.1.5 and above you will have to use version 9 of the SIP firmware. As far as BATing the phones in, it should be the standard procedure to note all of the MAC address, description info, and etc into the spreadsheet and run the task.
Hope this helps
Tony

Hi,
[+5] to Aditya
I was just checking the device pack compatibilty matrix and did not find any DP for CUCM version 8.0(3)
you need to upgrade CUCM at least to 8.5(1)
you can download the DP 8.5(1.16109) for firmware 9.3(3) from

Hello
8831 is only supported on the following cucm versions:
7.1(5), 8.5(1), 8.6(2), 9.0, and later
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/collaboration-endpoints/unified-ip-phone-8800-series/data_sheet_c78-726887.html
Unfortunately 8.0 is not one of them. This is because when 8831 firmware was released , there were no future device packs coming out for 8.0 . You will need to upgrade to one of the supported versions and then install device accordingly to enable 8831.

Aditya

Hi ,
beyond what Aditya Gupta just said ... you can check this link for the 'Device Pack' association.
