Trying to figure out how to turn off barge when someone pages using multicast. If a user is on a call and someone pages the user can hear the page over the speaker or if they are using the handset they can hear the page in the handset. They do get a button that pops up that will allow them to turn the page off but it seems like there should be a way to turn barge off on pages.

The Barge softkey has been renamed to Merge, and the Barge alert entry in Settings menu has been renamed Merge alert.
The feature is supported on the following phones:
• Cisco IP Phone 8811
• Cisco IP Phone 8841
• Cisco IP Phone 8851
• Cisco IP Phone 8861
If the above does not work, then try configuring cBarge which uses the uses the hardware/software Conference Bridge associated with CUCM instead of phone BIB

What are you using for a paging product? Informacast? This behavior is controlled by the paging server and the command it issues to the phone.

No paging product. Using multicast that's built into the phone. Paging is working fine just interrupts while on a call.
