we have a small site that we installed 1 ip phone. that site has no srst router or phone lines of any kind at that location. It is also in a different state than the corporate office. That phone connects back to us over the WAN to our corporate BE6K system. Of course that means all phone calls go though the corporate lines. If this site happens to call 911 it will show up as the corporate office and not the site. Is there anything we can do to get the emergency call from that specific phone go to its local emergency call center?

Aside from setting a local GW with an FXO for those calls, Intrado

Or, simply advise him to use a local line for 911 calls.

Thanks for the info, we may have to look into Intrado when we add our many small sites to the corporate system.

Really any time you deploy a voip solution you should have power fail phones.
A POTS lines with a $20 phone from any store and you have your power fail plus your solution to 911 if you don't have the Cisco infrastructure in place to get 911 call to your local PSAP.

And, in the modern world, most people have cellphone handy, and they can use that for 911 in the case where there is no other phone service available.
