Acceptable slip rate on E1 PRI line

Hi,

Show controllers E1 output shows around 30 slips for 15 minutes interval. Is this the acceptable slip rate ? Some PSTN calls are getting dropped, unable to understand where the problem is. Apart from this slip rate all other counts are zero. Please help if somebdy has the answer. Thanks

Yes i had. But it was working fine without any drops, issue started recently, no cofiguration changes happened to the router. Is this slip rate 30 for 15 minutes interval is acceptable or it should be zero ?

No split are acceptable, they may not necessarily impact your voice calls, but they will impact fax/modem calls. You need to determine what the issue here is. Ensure proper clocking configuration per many useful prior posts and if that is all good contact telco for troubleshooting.
