Adding a subscriber communications manager server in a cluster

Hello,

at this moment, we have only one publisher/subscriber in our IP telephony solution. Next month, we want to give it some redundancy adding a new subscriber and creating  a cluster with these two servers. I haven´t found any guideline about  adding a new subscriber, does anyone know if there is a guideline about it?

Thanks in advance

Hello Daniel,

Sure. Here you can find the guide lines (I'm assuming you have a cluster version 7.X):

Install Software from a DVD on a Subsequent Node

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/install/7_1_2/install/cmins712.html#wp485604

Apply a Patch During Installation of a Subsequent Node

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/install/7_1_2/install/cmins712.html#wp485792

Add a New Node to an Existing Cluster

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/install/7_1_2/install/cmins712.html#wp485892

Hope it helps, please rate if it does.

Good luck!

Kind regards,

- Adrian.
