Adding DID's to CallManager

Randy Haddon

hello,

I am needing to add a new block of DID's to our call manager 9.1.2.  I have added the dial-peer into the router with no problems, but when I went to add the numbers into the call manager under Call Routing and opened up Directory Number I put the first series of DID's in,  I then assinged on of the new DID's to a phone and when I tried to call it the recording come on this number is no longer in service (rang 2 times before the recording started).  not sure what part I am missing, any help would be appreciated.

note: the block of DID's are not sequential.

Thanks,

Randy

This is the Video Over IP forum, might want to move this to IP Telephony

Sorry about that mis-read the group name.

Randy

Is the call even hitting your GW?

Are you sure the telco has properly enabled the new DIDs?

sorry for the delay in getting back with you Jamie, no the calls are not hitting the gateway but I am able to call out from a phone with the new extension and I can dial it internally.

I used debug voip dialpeer detail to see if the call was hitting the GW.  I also used the RTMT and saw the call going out from the new extension but nothing on the call coming in.

Randy

If the call is not hitting your GW, you need to call your telco

Hi

check the gateways for incoming call logs. Also check the Calling search space in the trunk. This should have access to the Phone DN partition

I did check to the call logs on RTMT and could see the call that I made from the phone with the new number but not the call coming into it.
