Adding licenses for several additional phones on CUCM 9.1

We have a functioning CUCM 9.1.2 cluster and need to add several new phones.

We got the PAK with the licenses for the phones.

Is this the correct procedure to add the licenses for the phones?

-Go to ELM / License Fulfillment and generate a new license request

-Go to cisco license portal and use the PAK and the license request to activate the PAK and create a license file

-Go to ELM / Fulfill Licenses from file... and select the previously generated license file

Will this just add the new license to the old ones (keep the old licenses and just add the new additional ones)?

Yes, that will work. If your ELM has access to the internet you could also fulfill license from PAK directly from ELM.

In addition , if you face any problems you can always reach out to cisco licensing team via email or front line and they will help you generate the licenses on your behalf.

Hi Kasper,

what u have said is correct?

Go to Licenses---Fulfilment---Other Fulfilment Options—Generate License Request

Now copy the contents and go to cisco.com/license

Now enter the PAK codes provided and paste the contents .You can get the license file

Now go back to Other fulfilment options ---Fulfil licenses from File. Browse the file,enter the description  and click on Install

Your old license will remain intact.
