Hi,
We need to integrate an Alcatel 4400 PBX with our Cisco CallManager 6.1 using a Cisco 2811 H323 VG.
We will use an Alcatel PRA-2 card on the Alcatel PBX and an E1 card on Cisco VG.
The link will use QSIG.
1- What kind of cable should we use? (straight, crossed, 1-2-4-5...)
2- Is there any updated doc detailing the Cisco and Alcatel configuration?
3- Is there any special requirements for this integration, any recommendations...?
Thanks for your help.

Hi there, did you have any luck with this?

Hi,
Yes we did it.
First, one of Alcatel guys must do Alcatel config for you.
Second, we put a Cisco VG and connected the Alcatel PBX via an E1 (1/2/4/5 connection).
Please find the configuration of the controller :
interface Serial0/0/1:15
no ip address
encapsulation hdlc
isdn switch-type primary-qsig
isdn overlap-receiving
isdn incoming-voice voice
isdn negotiate-bchan
isdn sending-complete
no cdp enable
Attached a Cisco doc describing the Alcatel configuration steps.
Good Luck !
