Hi,
I have the following scenario:
analog fax ---------------------- VG202 ------------------- CUCM (8.0.3a) -------------------- 2821 Gateway (12.4(24)T4) ----------------- PSTN
analog MGCP MGCP ISDN E1
I am working with T.38 faxmode.
Lots of incomming faxes from PSTN to the analog fax are interrupted. If they where retransmitted they where transmitted without problems in most cases.
My ISDN Line has no errors and the Clock is set to the E1 ISDN interface.
Is there anybody who has a sollution for this?
Somebody told me to change the 2821 MGCP gateway config to H.323 config or replace the VG202 with a SIP controlled ATA. Does this really help?
Best regards
Manfred

Hello,
I know there is a bug. In special case the IOS of the router and the vg Must be the same version for example VG IOS Is 15.x it doesn't work with 12.4.x because there was a payload change.
Kind regards,
Marcel Ammann

I am seeing same issue. Is this bug documented anywhere?
