Any Connect Phone License Question

Hi Everyone

My director was approached by several mangers wanting to know would it be possible to let there people take there phones home and work. I've checked with our R/S engineer that manages the ASA and he verified that we have the current versions that we need. But I have a question about how many users can work from home based off of the screen shot that I've attached because I want to make sure if they send 100 people home they all will be able to connect and thanks in advance for the help.

Hello @scooter817

Based on the following documentation you need to have these two types of licenses on your ASA to enable Anyconnect VPN Phone

  • AnyConnect Premium SSL License

  • AnyConnect for Cisco VPN Phone License

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/unified-communications/unified-communications-manager-callmanager/115785-anyconnect-vpn-00.html

The number of VPN connections (whether there are Phone or User) is given by the number of Anyconnect Premium Licenses.

Nevertheless, I would strongly suggest, if you have the suitable infrastructure to consider applying MRA (Mobile Remote Access), instead of Anyconnect VPN Phone, check below:
