Any thoughts on Midspans

Has anyone here worked with a high quality Midspan. Any comparison charts between different vendors, well known brands and such.

PowerDSine used to supply their product as "Cisco".

So they were part of Cisco and then got out?

Oh no.  Cisco "contracted" them to make mid-spans and they were sold with "Cisco" badging and colours.

Used to be called PowerDsine 6548 and PowerDsine 6024G.
