Applying CUCM 8.0 pak to 7.1.5.10000-12 CUCM

Is it ok to apply an 8.0 CUCM pak to a  7.1.5.10000-12 CUCM server

If so, how do I remove it?

Do you mean the SW_Feature license file you get from your PAK for the server?  A version 8.0 will not work with CUCM 7.1.5.  You can remove it using the command line "file delete license ".
