Hi all, i´ve been reading a lot of post about this topic. for example,
https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/1090536
https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/297366
https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3038330
And in all of them there are not solution without a script. I can't believe this, all legacy PBX that i know has this behavior.
I try to explain the issue again.
I have this config
ephone-dn 22 dual-line
number 354
pickup-group 2
label 354
description UserA
name UserA
no huntstop channel
User A and user B are in a converstation. Then, UserC make a call to UserA and UserA can see in the screen of ephone a call from UserC, but, UserC hears a normal ring.
The problem start when UserA can´t take the call from UserC. UserC really doesn´t know if UserA is busy with other call or is out of office for example.
Are there a way to send a "i am speaking in other line" tone to UserC?
thanks in advance.

You could use the 'watch' function of CME to see if that ephone is on a call or not.
Or you could use UCC so that all users can see presence regarding call states, away, available, etc.

Thank you Steven, but that are not possible.
I would like that all people in the office could know if is on phone or not. And with 7940 or 524 ephones is not possible set a "watch" button for all people.
And now, we can't spent money in UCC.
I will try via scripting.
Thank you.

Another problem with watch or monitor, is that is not scalable. You may have a CME system with 450 extensions, but certainly not a 450 extensions Busy Lamp Field sidecar,
In light of that I have developed a script for the purpose, "Selective Ringback Tones", available on my page www.ciscoscripts.com
