ATA 186 no dial tone

I have an ATA configured to our call manager it was running for a few months when suddenly last week I can not hear any dialtone from the 2 analog phones connected to it. I tried to connect other analog phones to check if the phones were the ones defective but still theres no dialtone. I forgot the ip address that I've staticaly configured on it so I checked its IVR so that I can test its connectivity from the CM but I can not hear any thing when I press the function button. I've observed also that the function button blinks fast red light. I would like to attempt to reset it to factory default but I can not hear anything on its IVR.

Hi Michael,

If the ATA function button is blinking fast red, most likely it is still rebooting or has gone bad.

If you could get the IP on the ATA from the switch  to which it is connected we could see if it is accessible or not, i doubt if it would be accessible.

Most likely you will have to get it replaced.
