Hi Everyone,

I'm new to everything about IP phones.

I've just got a Cisco ATA 186 Analog Telephone Adaptor.

Its been reset to SCCP, but I need & I only understand SIP.

Can you tell me how can I do this please.

All I want to do is make & receive VoIP calls using my already setup provider (sipgate).

This product has reached EOL in 2015. So Sip firmware won't be available for download from Cisco portal. Search internet for the firmware and if you get the files you can convert this to SIP device and register with your call control server .

I'll go searching for the firmware.

How do I get a call control server?

call control server means your SIP provider.
