HI,

I am in urgent need for ATA box for my client.

But as per cisco site i can see that below  ATA boxes are EOL.

1. ATA186-I1-A

2. ATA186-I2-A

The replacement part for this Cisco ATA 187, but the client is using Callamanager 4.x and it supports only ATA 186. There is no option for ATA 187.

Is there any was i can use ATA 187 with ccm 4.x by upgrading the device package or something ?

WHat other options do i have ?

Also whats the difference between Cisco ATA 186 2-Port Adaptor, 600 Ohm Impedance vs Spare Cisco ATA 186 2-Port Adaptor, Complex Impedance ?

what does the impadnace practically mean ?

Rgds,

JF

ATA-187 is not supported with Callmanager 4.x

The same applies for VG202/204.

Only VG248 is supported with Callmanager 4.x.

An as laready mentionned the ATa-186 is end of sales

Check with CDW. I ordered an ATA186 from them within the last 6 months and put it on my network. The replacement reccomendation from Cisco is for the Linksys SPA2100/2102.

HI bsugamele,

Can u let me know whether this device will support CUCM 4.x.

And can you let me know what would be lead time for this or do you have any document for this product.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Rgds,

JF

If i am not mistaken, the SPA2100/2102 are SIP devices and won't be supported with Callmanager 4.x.

You need at least Callmanager 5.x or higher.

Pierre.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

So my solution would be cant we add an FXS card into the router and register the same using mgcp/h323 to call manager ?

In this way we can use analog device as a workaround without upgrading.

Do let me know if this is possible and i think its possible ?
Just let me know the limitation i would be having here?

Thanks for the quick response once again.
