Hi,
On Cisco AC version 9.1 it doesn't look like there is a setting where you can set the primary server. On the desktop AC app you used to be able to go into options=preferences and at the bottom there was primary server, where you could enter the primary server address. This doesn't appear to be there in version 9.1. So how do we tell the console application which server to log into?
Thanks

The feature to point at a particular server on the attendant console server is no longer in newer versions. You have to state the server in the install of the desktop application.

Which attendant console product do you have?
If Cisco Advanced attendant console then I don't believe HA was available in version 9.1, see data sheet:
It was introduced in later releases.

Hi Chris,
Ok so what's happening is this. There are two different servers on site. When the attendant console software is installed they enter the new server address. But they are unable to log in due to a couple of errors being thrown up on the application. The first one being the extension is out of service. And the second one is your phone is set to do not disturb. So these have been removed from the app user group on CUCM then re-added.
Also they notice that if they enter an incorrect log in credential, the error message they get back is a "failed to log onto server" error, with the IP of the other Attendant console, and not the one they think they're logging into, and not the one that was entered in the desktop app install. So this is leading them to think they;re logging into the wrong sever, however it could be a red herring?
Is there a registry setting they can check to make sure they're pointing to the correct server?
Thanks
Stuart.
