BACD on Voice gateway registered to CUCM

Good day,

A Customer is having CUCM cluster in HO and remote branches are connected to this cluster.Branch phones are registered to CUCM through WAN and Each branch contains CUE module for AA and Voicemail. Customer requirements is that caller from PSTN should dial the branch (on FXO ports) ,AA of cue is invoked(Using JTAPI/CTI) ,When caller press "Zero" call is being sent to a hunt group configured on CUCM with 5 operators .The caveat is that while the call is ringing the customer need the caller to hear a MoH (As if he is in a queue) instead of just ringing. I figured out that this feature of transfering the call and giving a prompt (while call being transfered) can be done either by Unity Connection AA or BACD as CUE doesnot rpivde such feature (I have been informed that by Cisco TAC). Since unity connection is out of the picture we only left with BACD.

What is the possibility of configure BACD on the remote gateway to provide AA and when caller presses zero call is transfered to CUCM hunt group and hear MoH from flash as if he is in queue?....does this solution works?

Call Scenario requested:

PSTN Caller-->FXO (Connection plar opx of BACD AA)-->press zero--->dial-peer of CUCM-->ring extension (while caller hear MoH from Flash)

Kindly provide your advise.

Thanks,

Amr Sherif

Amr,

B-ACD TCL script will only work with CME as it can only queue to CME hunt groups. You did not specify which CUCM version you are running but as of 9.0 there is native queuing now supported on CUCM line groups which would provide what you are looking for.
