I'm search the best practice for interface negotation speed and duplex on switch, Iphone and PC.

I always set them to auto-negotiate and have never had any problems.

Setting to half duplex would be bad for time sensitive traffic

Setting to full duplex introduces a risk of duplex mismatches and subsequent collisions etc.

Auto - no need to maintain switchport configs that may or may not change.
