I need help with the following issue.
I have a CUBE and one Fax connected to one FXS port (Voice port 0/1/0). The FAX and CUCM use the same dial-peer to the PSTN
How can I prevent someone from making 911 calls from my fax?
Thank you.

Hi @Jose Lopez,
Is FXS port configured in CUCM or is it programmed on CUBE?

Hi Vaijanath,
It is only on CUBE, if I apply call-block with rule on dial-peer affects all sources.
There is no way to apply "call-block" on voice-port 0/1/0 configuration.

Take a look at this old thread. I'm not sure if it works, as I don't have an FXS in my router to test it in my lab.

If the port is controlled by CUCM, this can be achieved from CUCM, and that would be the best option if the solution shared in the link doesn't work for you."

Use COR. You could also use LPCOR if you needed to rope CUCM into the restrictions - but that isn’t necessary to address the request here. Once you apply an incoming COR tag to the FXS port, it will only be able to reach outbound dial-peers with that tag. Yes, this means you need to separate your outgoing dial-peers out to distinct destination patterns; it can’t be a single .T
PS- Blocking 911 may create some liability. You should, at minimum, ensure the fax machine doesn’t have a handset for voice calls. Asking your inside counsel for their sign-off may also be wise for CYA purposes.
