call accounting uc520

Hi

i have call accounting enabled on uc520 configured to file accounting, the file created on ftp has a size of 0k, the one on flash is good

my config is

gw-accounting file
  primary ftp 10.22.64.201/uc500 username cdr password cdr1234
  secondary ifs flash:uflash
  acct-template callhistory-detail
  maximum buffer-size  40
  maximum retry-count 5
  maximum fileclose-timer 300
  maximum cdrflush-timer 245
  cdr-format compact

after running

debug voip fileacct
debug voip dump-file-acct

i noticed the following messages after each call

WARNING: gw-accounting fact not enabled. return.

and in the debug output as if the data is being deleted after being written as such

I have the exact same issue on a 12.4.24 (T) ISR 2811 router. A cisco TAC recommended changing the IOS version. I sincerely doubt if that will make a difference. Were you able to fix this?

Having exactly the same issue with our ISR2811 12.4(24) T.  Zero byte log files being pushed to the FTP server.  Anyone run across a fix yet?

CSCtb72550 Bug Details

Call  Detail Record File not created in FTP  Server

Symptoms:  Call Detail Record (CDR) files  pushed via FTP are  not created on the  FTP server.

Conditions:  This  symptom is  observed when the gw-accounting file command  is  configured to point to an FTP server.

Workaround:     Push the CDR records locally to the flash instead of to an FTP URL

I have a similar little problem ..

In my case, the UC500 write CDR's to my FTP server, it works great... the problem is that the files don't have title or description for fields.. it show only data from calls.

My configuration is this:

gw-accounting file

primary ftp 192.168.10.25/testcdr username cisco password cisco

acct-template callhistory-detail

maximum buffer-size  25

maximum retry-count 3

maximum fileclose-timer 65

maximum cdrflush-timer 5

cdr-format compact

Machine: Cisco UC520-8U-4FXO-K9

IOS Version: Cisco IOS Software, UC500 Software (UC500-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 15.1(2)T2, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

uc500-advipservicesk9-mz.151-2.T2

When I put the debug commands:

1.    enable

2.    debug voip fileacct

3.    debug voip dump-file-acct

It shows this message "gw-accounting fact not enabled".. I don't know if this is the problem...

Any help will be appreciate.

I try with cdr-format detailed but the result is the same... no description on fields..no tittle..

When I run the commands

1.    enable

2.    debug voip fileacct

3.    debug voip dump-file-acct

I can see the description for each field (tittle) but in .csv not show this..

So, any help about this will be appreciate.

In the 15.2-2T, You always have to use the command file-acct reset

Try to use a script

The problem appears also in the 152-2.T in CME9.0.

Sometimes the IOS can send and sometimes it can't send.

Hi elie,

I check your recommended document... and my configuration is the same.. step by step..

But only in one thing from the example show  i can't place in my conf, because the command is'n accepted for my uc500

the line is this:

vlan internal allocation policy ascending

gw-accounting aaa

method firs

Is this mandatory ?

it is working for me without the commands you mentioned,

the headers are not showing also, the output is coma separated and the fields are defined in the link i provided
