Hi Everyone!
I cannot, for the life of me, figure this out. When I press (or anyone, at any phone) the Directories key, and make a selection, the "Details" softkey is not present when a missed, placed, or received call is highlighted. I've been through the softkey templates and it doesn't appear that you can modify the directory options. Does anyone have any idea how to add it, or why it's missing? My phone doesn't have a specific external data location set for the directory, we're using the system default URL Directories (http://10.x.x.10:8080/ccmcip/xmldirectory.jsp)
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
Ian

Hi Ian,
UGH! Sorry man....
This info is not available if using a 7940/7960, sadly, only 3rd gen & newer phones.
There was a bug/enhancement for the 7940/60's that was never fixed (notice the "super" workaround" );
CSCdt61023 - Missed/Received calls should indicate which line the call was on
Description
Symptom:
The Missed Calls and Received Calls directories on the 7960 and 7940 IP
phones do not indicate which line the call was missed or received on.
Condition:
This can be an important distinction when there are multiple lines on
the same phone for different purposes. For example, a receptionist may
have a personal line and a shared line with a manager. The receptionist
will see all the missed/received calls on both their own personal line as
well as the manager's line and will not know whether a call-back should be
made or not.
Workaround:
None. Don't call back.
3.0(8), 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 6.0
7.1(2), 7.2(2)
Status:
Terminated
Last Modified:
Sep 30,2011
Product:
Cisco Unified IP Phone 7900 Series
Platform:
Dependent
Severity:
6 - enhancement

Sorry, forgot to mention, I'm running 8.0.3.21900-8

Hi Ian,
Is it available after you press the "More" softkey? If not,
I would think it may be a firmware issue. Can you also
provide the phone model and firmware version
Cheers!

There is no more softkey. Three buttons - Dial, EditDial, and Exit. Model is a 7940 (SCCP), but the same behavior is present on 7960s. Firmware load is frankly bizarre (I've never seen one like this) and is PC0303010100.

Not what I was hoping to hear. Thank you for your help, that's what I needed. Perhaps I can get some new phones in the budget. Thanks again!
