Hi,
Have a strange issue where Call Forward is not working
We can set the call forward and when ringing the phone, it displays that the call is being forwarded to xxxxxxx but xxxxxx doesn't actually ring. The CSS etc.. are all good the phone in question can dial outside and internally.
If we call the extension Internally, it does call forward, but if I dial the extension externally using the full number the phone displays that it is call forwarding, but the phone that it is being forwarded to doesn't ring...
Phone in question is a 7912.
Thanks

What is the xxxxxxx number, is it another internal extension or external destination?
Can you forward to it from another phone?

The xxxx number we are forwarding to is a mobile, but we have tried a landline number also. From other phones we can forward fine to the numbers.
The phone in question can dial the xxxx number no problem so it's not the CSS or anything like that. The issue seems to be when we set the call forward and then dial the extension externally - it doesn't forward, although the phone shows the incoming phone being forwarded.
Again, if we dial the extension internally - it forwards to the number no problem, it's very strange...

Are the call forward All and call forward All Secondary CSSes proper?
What if you forward the phone to another internal extension, does that work?
Also, do you use Local Route Group in your deployment?
Do you see the call hitting the GW? What is the circuit you use for PSTN, PRI, SIP trunk, etc?
HTH,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Umm not to sure about the Call forward All Secondary CSSes? Where is this? This is on CUCM.
Also not sure about Local Route Group...:-)
Just put the call forward to an Internal Number and tried calling externally - it didn't forward to the internal number either so I guess that rules out the ISDN circuit etc..
Does this help at all?

What version of CUCM are you running?
Can you post a screen shot of the DN configuration?
