Hi guys…
Is there any way that anyone can think of to provide the ability to call forward a shared line on a handset without using the CM User page?
I.e. 7942 with Line 1 as their personal line and the line 2 as shared line. At present, pressing the call forward only selects line 1 with no option to choose the second line (which is the shared line they want to forward).
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
Cheers!

Hi James,
I believe Bruno may be referring to CME where the Call Forward of secondary
lines is possible (+5 Bruno )
But for CUCM as you have discovered, you can only Call Forward "Primary" Lines (Line 1) via
the IP phones. This is covered in the following Bug/Enhancement;
Description
A user cannot not forward non-primary line appearances from the phone
Details
2.3(1),3.0(7),2.4(2b),4.2,3.1(3a)
3.3,7.1(2),5.1,6.1(3)

Product:
Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)
Platform:
Dependent
Severity:
6 - enhancement
There is a third party product that will do what you want
IPPhone callForwarder
This new version brings to the user the ability of defining and setting the call forwards from the IP Phone. When selecting the IP Phone callForwarder service, a menu with all available lines will appear. After selecting the line the user wishes to set the forward on, a new menu containing the forward definitions will show on screen. Only those forwarding parameters definied by the Administrator will be displayed. These parameters will show the actual forward destination. The user can then set any of these callForwards.

Or you can Call Forward via ccmuser or ccmadmin

One way is you press the Button for second/Shared Line on the phone and put th CFwd.
Ensure that you Phone have the proper softkey template (seized) assigned to your Phone

Sorry, what do you mean by putting "seized" in brackets?
Basically when picking up the 2nd line, the "CFwdALL" automatically gets greyed out....
