Call Manager 7 Calling Party settings

Not applicable

When outbound calls are made to cell phones, call displays as "unknown", or +248 3408000 if I change calling party settings to ISDN or National.  However, when using mobility, and the system rings my cell phone (as an outbound call) it shows up correctly as (248) 340 8000.  Why are these setting different and where can I find what the settings are that the mobility feature is using.

It's possible that your carrier is overwriting the caller ID sent out by mobility calls with your BTN. Some carriers will not pass through caller ID that is not associated with your account and will overwrite this information. Check the external phone number mask configured at the DN level for one of your phones. Is it set to +248 3408000. If not it may be getting modified by a translation pattern, route pattern or route list.
