is there a way to actually record calls with the cisco call manager??

there is no native support for recording on CM. U can use 3rd party s/w for it

Not AFAIK. However depending on your requirement you could use CM features like Barge/MCID/etc though none of them are equivalent to recording a call

In CCM u dont have the provision for that.U have to depend on softwares for that.
