Call pickup with SPA502G on CUCM 6.1.2.1000-13

Hello,

I have a Cisco Unified Communications Manager version 6.1.2.1000-13 and a Cisco SPA 502G configured as a standard SIP device.

I'd like to be able to pickup calls from other users in the same pickup group. On the CUCM side I've placed the phone on the correct pickup group. On the phone side, I've updated to the latest firmware and enabled the "Call Pick Up Serv:" and the "Group Call Pick Up Serv:". Services.

Even after all theses settings changed I still can't see the "pickup" or "gpickup" options on my phone's LCD.

What am I doing wrong?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You cannot control display or expect to have features working with a generic SIP phone.

For these things you will need a true Cisco phone.
