Is there a way to force a call to hit a MGCP / SIP / H323 gateway when the call is made between 2 phones registered to the same Call Manager? If so, is there any sample Gateway config to force such a call?

Hi Rajnath.
Put both phones directory number in the same Partition eg. Internal
You can create 2 partitions, let's say EXT_1,EXT_2.
Create 2 route pattern one for phone1 extension and one for phone2 ext pointing to H323/SIP/MGCP GW and put them in partition EXT_1 and EXT_2 respectively.
Create 2 CSS eg_ CSS_TO_EXT1 and CSS_TO_EXT2
Put EXT_1 partition into CSS_TO_EXT_1 css and assign this CSS to phone 2 line.
In the same manner, put EXT_2 partition into CSS_TO_EXT_2 css and assign the CSS to phone 1 line.
Create a third CSS eg. CSS_FROM_GW and assign Internal partition to it and add this CSS as incoming calling search space in the gateway configuration page.

Hi Carlo,
Thanks for the reply. Do I need to do anything on the Gateway from the dial peer angle?

Rajnath.

Hi Rajnath.
You have just to be sure that your voice gateway is able to route calls to those extensions configuring appropriate dial-peers
