Hi,

What's the call flow? Is the transfer failing on calls received from the PSTN to internal phones? What type of GW are you using? Do you have an MTP configured?

Can you please disable the G722 completely from the environment, you can change  the enterprise paramater Advertise G.722 Codec to Disabled.

Thanks for your reply, Apologies for the delay in responding, the problem is with calls from PSTN.

Users are receptionist, they get call from Exchange UM via CUBE/H323 gateway, they can receive the call and speak, intermittently they cannot put the call on hold or transfer.

When I checked the logs I can see the StatInit command activating hold/ transfer but the stationD rejecting it, the rejection message from CUCM is in the above post.

If we have media resource issue, MRM should have some error messages, in the above scenarios, I dont see any message from MRM, please advise

we dont use G722 in our environment, the call uses G729.

Hi,

Please double check if the H323 GW configuration in CUCM has the "MTP required" box checked, if that's the case uncheck it and test again. I guess you are nt able to put the calls on hold either.

Thank you, this is not new implementation, this has been working for more than a year, the H323 GW is configured for " MTP required", we restarted the CTI manager and that fixed the issue
