Call Transfer

Hi,

 

Here is the requirement:-

 

Phone 1 ( Managing Director) --> Phone 2 ( Personal Assistant).

 

The Inbound calls to Managing Director will be attended by Personal Assistant . Then she will transfer the calls to Managing Director if the call is important. Otherwise she has to transfer the calls to Managing Director Voice Mail. How it can be done.

 

As of now we have provided a temporary solution by configuring 2nd line in managing Director Phone pointed to Managing Director Voice mail and the Personal Assistant will transfer the unnecessary calls to Managing Director 2nd line so the call will be reaching Managing Director Voice Mail.

 

Please help me to find the solution

 

CUCM Version:- 9.X

Unity Version :- 8.X

The config that is documented in this good "tech note" will allow you you to set up a method for the PA (or anyone) to transfer directly to the Managing Director voicemail for the unnecessary calls;
