caller ID presentation on forwarding lines

Good Morning,

I have a phone x4141 it's labeled John Doe.

I leave for the day and I push the forward all button and put in x 7777.

When people call 4141 and gets forwarded to 7777.   I want the 4141 to display calling and not the caller ID of the caller.

Any help?

is call coming in on a sip trunk?  You can try modifying the caller ID setting on the trunk.  You can also work with calling party transformation patterns and calling search spaces.

There is a setting on the line. Modify this and see if it meets your requirements.
