You don't need to change the call type if you just want to transform the number, the call it is useful for some "auto" digit manipulation or if the next device needs requires it.

I think that you have a confusion on what is calling vs called party, but I think that what you want is to add the prefix 9 (for US) or 0 (for Europe) to the caller ID which your ITSP should send it on E.164 format

Please check the following documentation.

Hi,

I am manipulating the caller id , my transform mask on the route pattern actually masking the call from extension 2001 to 00123452001 , but the next device see only this  "123452001" , zero is omitted .

My question is how can I fix it ?

Changing calling number type will help ?

Hello elite2010,

Please use the call analyzer on https://<CUCM>/dna and check if additional steps are doing any digit manipulation.

Router Pattern or Route List for example.

Hi,

Dna is showing correct as required with 00 as prefix

Thanks

Well, if that is the case then it might be a translation on your router, you can drill that down with some debugs.

debug isdn q931 for POTS lines

debus ccsip messages for SIP lines.

And adjust accordingly.
