Hi,
I have a customer running CUCM 8.6 and UCCX 8.5 on UCS C series.
PSTN connectivity is via two 2921 Cisco CUBE's to a SIP ITSP.
There is also a link to mobile numbers via a Quescom gateway which CUCM sees as a H.323 trunk.
The phones are 7940 and 7960 models.
Users have VMware View desktops on Wyse terminals which are daisy chained via the 7940/7960 phones.
The users are spread across three sites linked by Ethernet fibre services.
Catalyst 3750X switches are are as the core/server farm and 2960S PoE switches support users and phones.
I need to find a way to record all calls in/out via the CUBEs and the Quescom gateway.
I do not think I can use network based recording as the 7940/7960 phones do not support the Built In Bridge needed for this to work.
Server based recording via SPAN ports would be tricky as the phones are spread over multiple switches and sites.
Desktop based recording is also not an option due the use of virtual desktops.
Ideally I would like a recording solution that does not require any of the current components to be replaced or significantly reconfigured.
Thanks
