Hi Everyone,
Currently I have a client who has a primary server down and cisco are having issues getting it up. Currently they think its a drive issue. They have ibm coming out to replace the disk.
We do not have a backup of this server. The backup has not been run. The raid disk is not working also.
If we rebuild the server will the primary get the database information from the subscriber or will we have to completely rebuild the system ?
I am pretty sure I know the answer which is rebuild but I just want to see if theres a slight chance I dont have too.

There is no way a Publisher can sync the data from a Subscriber. Its the other way around.
You will need to rebuild the Publisher and restore the DRS backup onto it.
Then bring it online.
Then go to Unified Reporting > Db Replication Status
Wait for sometime after Publisher is online and check the Db is replicating with the Subscribers properly or not. Then you are good to go.

The issue is we dont have a DRS of it.
So the crux of it is we will have to fully rebuild it.
