Hi All,
Our CUCM system (8.6) is experiecing a very strange issue: calls regardless internal or external intermittently hit dead air. Issue happens only when use speed dials, directory dials, redials. I checked the CDR and found the "called party number" of all failed calls in this format:
91XX@1xx.16.xx.1 (which is UCM server address)
91XXXX@1xx.16.xx.1
XXXX@1xx.16.xx.1 (if call internal)
* the number string before @ always are not the completely phone number dialed from (speed dial, directory, history logs)
Can anyone advise the direction of troubleshooting?
Thanks!

What do you mean with Dead air? If the problem is one way audio or not audio at all it could be a routing issue.

As i know, it's not a routing issue. All issues happens in recent few weeks and we didn't change anything in CUCM.
Here is an example, when i call other extension by using "redial" or directory dial, most time the call get through and rings on the other extension, but intermittently the call just hang there, no ring back tone and eventually drop.

Hmmm. it could be some resources problem (DSP, CPU, Memory...). Have you find some new Alert or Warning? Log in RTMT, then go to Tools->Alert Central.

The server is fine according to the RTMI track. I suspect it's network connectivity related but need some guide to look into it.

Are you loosing packest between Phones and CUCM server? Check out the switch interface where phone/server are connected, maybe you're getting some mistmach speed or QoS issue (If QoS was applied on LAN).

I recommend you use the switch console to see these error. What about server interface?
