calls not clearing down. cisco 2801

At our remote sites we have cisco 2801 routers with VIC2-2FXS cards for the voice. This is plugged into a 2+8 PBX system locally with analogue phones connected.

Since we have upgraded the IOS from version c2801-advipservicesk9-mz.124-21.bin to  c2801-advipservicesk9-mz.124-24.T4.bin the phones occasionally fail to clear down and the only wat to resolve is to reload the router. Anyone have any ideas?

12.4T has exibhited many bugs for voice. Try 15.0(1)M4, or go back to what you had before.

The problem is only on 6 sites out of a hundred. We are going to try the 15

.0(M) IOS and see if that solves it

I can also clear the fault using the command

router#clear call voice causecode 17 calling-number 4354

the causecode can be seen on the #show call active voice command and the phone number is the local one
