Greetings, are running CM 4.2(3) this was just upgraded from 4.1(3) and we saw the same thing on both versions. We are sure it is a config issue, but have not found it yet.
Site Setup:
2 sites BH and DT. Both sites have 3800 GWs, and are running MGCP. Sites are connected via 100MB gigaman link. The CM's are at the DT site. G.711 is the only codec configured for both regions. They do not want MoH, therefore per Cisco TAC the MoH servers were removed from MRG.
The problem:
Calls coming in via PSTN to BH site are put on hold, and get disconnected after 60 seconds.

No, we don't have this command in either gateway. I am lookup up this command now.

James,
Without that command calls will timeout if there is no RTP stream towards the router. We use MOH, but had calls timing out and dropping when a caller would leave a long voicemail.
You can safely try it and see if it fixes your problem.

Dave,
Thanks, this did indeed fix the issue!
