Can EF and AF congestion avoidance be used at together?

Ie can i use EF and apply congestion avoidance (RED, WRED) to AF on the same router?

Yes. The EF class would be exempt from it due to LLQ but it can be applied to remaining classes including class-default.

Thank you. I read that typically EF will be put into a different queue if the router supports multiple queues.
