Can I configure call forward to send voicemails to the original called number?

CME 10.5

I want to rehunt to extension 5200 on noan, but then go to voice mailbox of the original called number.

In other words:

Call comes in to extension 7546

After 12 seconds RNA the call is forwarded to extension 5200

After 12 more seconds of RNA the call is forwarded to voicemail pilot 5999 but sent to voice mailbox for 7546

ephone-dn 20 octo-line
number 7546
call-forward busy 5200
call-forward noan 5200 timeout 3

ephone-dn 31
number 5200
call-forward busy 5999
call-forward noan 5999 timeout 3

The calls hitting the voicemail system (5999) are going to the mailbox for extension 5200.

Thanks,

-mike

Hi Mike,

This is a setting related to the voicemail system you are using. If you are using Cisco Unity Express (CUE);

For CUE;

**Mailbox selection (OCN or LRD) in your case change to use OCN

This configurable option specifies the mailbox to be used in case of call forward.

Mailbox  selection: Mailbox in which an incoming voice message is stored. The  options are original called number (OCN) or the last redirected number  (LRD). LRD is the default option:)

Check out Page 88 of this old doc;

Cheers!
