Can't Upgrade 7961G IP Phone to cmterm-7941_7961-sip.9-2-1.

Hello There,

The 7961 that i have it used to run SCCP I upgraded it to SIP cmterm-7941_7961-sip.8-0-4SR3A. Everything went well but i realized that my CME is only compatible with cmterm-7941_7961-sip.9-2-1. So when i try to load any other firmware that is newer than cmterm-7941_7961-sip.8-0-4SR3A it goes into a boot loop and it only gets the terms61.loads file over and over.

You have run into the Two-Stage-Firmware-Upgrade issue, which is not uncommon for this generation of phones. You'll need to upgrade to an interim version of firmware, and then the final firmware. See my post here:
