Unable to Upgrade 7961-G to new SIP Firmware

Dear Cisco community,

The 7961 that i have it used to run SCCP I upgraded it to SIP cmterm-7941_7961-sip.8-0-4SR3A. Everything went well but i realized that my CME is only compatible with cmterm-7941_7961-sip.9-2-1. So when i try to load any other firmware that is newer than cmterm-7941_7961-sip.8-0-4SR3A it goes into a boot loop and it only gets the terms61.loads file over and over.

Hi @zhir 

Before you can upgrade to 9.1 or later, you need to upgrade to release 8.5.2 than you can proceed further.

As @Carlo Poggiarelli suggested, you need to upgrade to intermediate versions first. Begin with upgrading to 8.5(2), then to 9.2-1. The screenshot is for 9.2.3, but it applies to your version as well.
