Can we use LIC-CM-DL-100= for CM8.6

Dears,

Our customer needs addtional 10 CP-7942G for CM8.6, as I know we can only order the minimum 50 user connection licenses LIC-CUCM-USR-A, so I am wondering if we can use the traditional cm device licenses LIC-CM-DL-100= to replace the user connection licenses. The client is concerning about the budget.

Hi Kirin

No, LIC-CM-DL-100 will not work on CUCM 8.6, you must either use CUWL or UCL licensing part codes.

However, as far as I know, the minimum of 50 UCL licenses ONLY applies to new installations, and not additional users.You should be able to order 10 UCL users using an ADDON top level part code.
