Hi, i am looking for help in configuring the Cisco 1941/K9 router to be able to handle SIP Trunking. Currently i have linksys router and it works fine with Cisco 7960 phones and Asterisk server. But when i switch to new Router (1941) the whole system just stop working. The phones don't register with the server on LAN and the server doesn't register with any thing either on LAN or WAN. So i think i need to open up (configure the router) Port 5060 and 5061. Is someone has any suggestion, as i have litterally given up with the cisco support service, as they have no clue what i am talkig about.

Hi,
Please check the following link
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk652/tk90/technologies_tech_note09186a0080b3e123.shtml
What protocol are you using the phone? SIP or Skinny?
Can you collect "debug ccsip message" and gateway configuration.
Thanks
