Carry the ANI from pstn--> pbx ->CUCM-->PSTN-->cloud CC

I have a request where the call comes into a PBX, it is forwarded to Cucm through a SIP trunk, then the call is again forwarded to PSTN and then cloud CC.

Is it possible to carry the customer ANI through out the call and send it to Cloud CC. We have a script on the cloud CC when the call is routed based on the ANI.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Why shouldn't it be not possible?

If you don't modify / strip it anywhere, the ANI should be delivered.

Depends on the country and ISP

As soon as  a call is forwarded via the CUCM/PBX back to the PSTN,its stops begin a direct call and starts being a forwarded call, so besides the ANI/DNIS numbers there is also the redirect number.

The ITSP that provides you with the PSTN has to make sure that the call is coming from you, he does this sometimes by screeing the ani number and making sure it belongs to the pool of numbers you have contracted with him

Having said that the feature you are looking for is clip-no-screening, which is a provider based feature where the ANI/DID number is not screened by the ISP, the provider will in turn use another field  on the call setup i.e the redirected number to screen for the number.

However clip-no-screening is not possible in some Countrys due to the possibility of spoofing abuse. so if your ISP  or ISP's since you have 2 PSTN legs on your path supports clip-no-screening you should be able to do it as long as the call destination remains national. if the forward destination is International due to the fact that it crosses several different ISPs/Countrys it will not work

When you send the call out from CUCM, if the calling number is not from your DID range,  ISP will drop the call  or translate that number to the DID pilot.

You can only send if the PBX and CUCM share the same DID range.
