Hi,
We are running CCM Cluster 4.1(3) and Publisher is running on MCS7835 with 36GB Hard Disks.
Presently we are running short of Disk space.
I need to free some Disk space.
I saw that Trace Folder( C:\Program Files\Cisco\Trace) taking lot of Disk space(presently 7.32 GB) and
other folders present in TRACE folder are: CCM,SDL,TFTP,DBL,CTI,CEF,TCD,BARS,BAT etc...
I need clarification on :
Can i empty the contents of Trace folder so that i can free some disk space?
I need to know wheather deleting these files will affect Publisher operation ?
Please help me out!!!!

YOu need to turn off traces before deleting those text files. Go to Application > Cisco CallManager Serviceability > Trace > Configuration and uncheck all traces, then go to your folder and delete them Manually.

It won't affect the CCM operation, just keep in mind that if you have an outage or a problem you won't be able to find out what was the problem without the traces, but if you are able to replicate the problem at will, then you can turn them off, recreate the issue, gather the traces and turn them off.
At the end the traces are just for troubleshooting, it has nothing to do with the server performance.
