CCME extension assigner was dialed today to swap out a broken phone, it normally works fine. The following is now occuring.
Dial the extension number, greeted with "Welcome CME EA, enter password". After dialing the first digit of the password (or any digit for that matter) you are cut off and says "please check with the system administrator for the correct password" and terminates the call.
I tried re-entering the param-ea password command, and got the following message? : "Warning: parameter ea-password has not been registered under EA namespace"
Debug and config is below:
Router#debug voip application script
voip application script debugging is on

The parameter warning message is normal for scripts.
Extension Assigned should not be very important on a working syste,. If you have to replace a phone, just configure the new MAC.

I opened the case with TAC and it was resolved within an hour. For anyone else that has this problem occur, I have copied and pasted the bug below:
EA password pattern matching fails with call-park system application
Symptoms
: Extension assigner (EA) application erroneously exits after the
first digit of the password is entered.
Conditions
: The symptom is observed when "call-park system application" is
configured under telephony-service.
Workaround: Remove "call-park system application".
Once the workaround was in-place, all issues with Extension Assigner stopped.
Thanks,
Nic.
