ccme: max # of conference

Dear all,

I add the following command on ccme but i can only made a conference call with three user at a time from my 7941 phone.

telephony-service

max-conferences 8 gain -6

Any other config is required to make conference call with more than 3 users.

What problem you faced exactly ? Are you using CME? If so, pls send output of "show dsp dspfarm".

It is CME.

I found a document says that CME doesn't support dsp-based conference profiles.

I doubt it NOT supporting MTP (s/W & H/W) also.

Not sure which document are you talking about.

If you read the "CME administrator guide", latest version it will tell you how to configure multi-party conferences, meet-me and ad-hoc. Both are DSP-based by the dspfaarm in the same router.

Also please explain what problem are you trying to solve with MTP.

under Part || chapter 4 DSP resources.

I faced the same problem in CME 4.0(0)

Regarding software MTP it is not registered to CME.

Regarding hardware MTP also maximum sessions is 0

Pls upgrade to cme 4.1 w/ IOS 12.4(11)XJ4 and you will have all the conferencing options.

Does it support h/w MTP?
