CCUM virtualized 10.5 upgrade

Experts,

We have CCUM 10.5 in virtual environment installed on Cisco server. We also use informacast 9.0.2 but that separate topic. I wonder what and how would be upgrade to latest version which I believe 12 is. Can 11 be skipped? I have never done that for Cisco product. Any instructions - advice appreciated. thank you

From CUCM 10.5(x) you can do a Direct Standard Upgrade to CUCM 12.0(1). For that you can use either PCD (Prime Collaboration Deployment) or using the CUCM OS Admin interface.

For Informacast Paging, from 9.0.2, you have to reach 9.1.1 >> 11.5.1 >> 12.X. There are some other upgrade paths as well, however, you cant skip 9.1.1 or 11.5 upgrade. Its a multi path upgrade.

Make sure to thoroughly read the upgrade guide, RN and README as everything you would need to know for the upgrade is in them.

EDIT: Also consider that now you'll use Smart licensing with 12.x
