Change a Route Pattern to Redirect to External Number

I have a phone number that is setup as a Route Pattern so that calls to that number are directed to a Fax server. I need to change it so that calls to that number now get forwarded to an external phone number. What would be the easiest way to do this?

Use a translation pattern
