Does this change cause an outage to CUCM ?

From the link

Note If you change the IP address for  the primary DNS server, you must also restart the Cisco Tomcat service.  For more information, see the utils  service command.

Caution If you continue, this command causes a temporary  loss of network connectivity. If you change the IP address of the DNS  server, you must restart Cisco Tomcat. For more information, see utils  service.

Restarting Tomcat doesn't cause an outage for core call processing functionality, only ancillary features such as extension mobility, webdialer, etc. Also don't forget that changing DNS will cause the Licensing MAC to change. You'll need to rehost the license.

Please remember to rate helpful responses and identify helpful or correct answers.

Note that if you change the DNS Domain, this will cause an immediate reboot of the server.
